Energy Components User Community Website Privacy Notice

6. Location of data processing

Your personal data is primarily processed on servers within the EU/EEA and the UK.

However, some of the recipients, such as some of our group entities, may be located outside of the EU/EEA and the UK, and these jurisdictions may not have privacy laws that are as protective as the laws in your jurisdiction, such as the United States. Quorum Software has implemented safeguards, in accordance with legal requirements, designed to protect your personal data irrespective of the data protection standards in the jurisdiction where your personal data may be transferred. For example, we enter into agreements with third parties, such as service providers, to require them to adopt standards greater than the local data protection requirements.

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, contractual or legitimate requirements or interests.

The EC Community may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, products, services, and applications that are not owned or controlled by the EC Community. 10. Safeguarding information

We have put in place physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, theft, or unauthorized access or disclosure, consistent with legal obligations and industry practices. We evaluate these safeguards to help minimize risks to personal data. However, as is the case with any website, application, product, or service, we cannot guarantee the security for data collected through the EC Community.
